... Spot prices of poly, wafers, and cells all increased on week. ... Spot prices of solar modules also maintained flat; rather than the decreasing trend for weeks.
As our talked with poly-silicon vendors, they were more positive for the coming price trend of poly-silicon. It would be hard to see inventory clearing actions in a near term. Spot price of PV grade poly-silicon remained strong and they would try to maintain current price uptrend....
Spot prices of solar cells also increased after one month lag than solar wafers, which had been rebounded on the very first week of 2012..... It was observed that utilization rates of solar cell manufacturers had been up recently. Most cell manufacturers were more positive for February. Besides, thanks to rebounded Euro, spot prices of solar modules paused to decline....
Also insgesamt: Keine Spur von weiteren Preissenkungen!
